Anthony, who also earned his Master's in teaching English in 2018, taught English and chess in New York schools for five years and strives to make chess content accessible and enjoyable for people of all ages. Tarjei Svensen is a Norwegian chess journalist who worked for some of the country's biggest media outlets and appeared on several national TV broadcasts. Between 2015 and 2019, he ran his chess website mattogpatt.no, covering chess news in Norwegian and partly in English. In 2020, he was hired by Chess24 to cover chess news, eventually moving to Chess.com as a full-time chess journalist in 2023. He is also known for his extensive coverage of chess news on his X/Twitter account.
Colin McGourty led news at Chess24 from its launch until it merged with Chess.com a decade later. An amateur player, he got into chess writing when he set up the website Chess in Translation after previously studying Slavic languages and literature in St. Andrews, Odesa, Oxford, and Krakow.

Saravanan is an International Master from Chennai, India, a top player of the country in the late 90s, and an Olympian representing the national team. He was one of the trainers of world champion Viswanathan Anand since 2007. A full-time chess professional, he has been a 'mercenary second' and mentor for a few Grandmasters, and a trainer who has produced several GMs and IMs. He is a freelance writer for newspapers, chess magazines, and chess news portals. Saravanan is also a commentator, public speaker, event manager, and an avid reader of chess books. His videos on chess books and general chess topics - especially on Vishy - have been well received. He is the father of a teenager, enjoys playing badminton, and loves a good joke, especially over a cup of South Indian filter 'kaapi'.
Peter Doggers joined a chess club a month before turning 15 and still plays for it. He used to be an active tournament player and holds two IM norms.Peter has a Master of Arts degree in Dutch Language & Literature.
