Bio

Nana Dzagnidze is a Georgian grandmaster and one of the top female players in the world.  She won the World Girls U12 Championship in 1999 and the World Girls U20 Championship in 2003. In 2010 she won the tournament in Jermuk, the 4th leg of FIDE Women's Grand Prix series.  In 2017 she won the European Women's Individual Championship and the World Blitz Championship. In 2020 she took the 1st place at the Women's Grand Prix tournament in Lausanne.

Dzagnidze earned her international master title in 2004 and became a grandmaster in 2008. She reached her peak FIDE rating of 2573 in 2015.
